Ziptrak Outdoor Blinds

Bring the Outside In

Create an enclosed outdoor space in seconds

Whatever the Weather

Outdoor living is an important part of the Kiwi lifestyle. Whether you are hosting a backyard barbecue or relaxing in the fresh air with a good book, you want to be comfortable. There is no need to let the elements get in the way of enjoying your slice of paradise. Make the most out of your outdoor space – come rain, wind or shine – with Ziptrak® blinds.

Is the rain ruining your plans? Simply glide the blinds down to shelter your outdoor living area.

Bothered by the breeze? Move the blinds to any height to block out the wind.

Is the sun shining? Our outdoor blinds can keep you cool and provide protection from harsh UV rays.

Whatever the weather, we have you covered.

Look and Feel

Ziptrak® outdoor blinds can be custom-made to suit your space. You can choose different materials and colours to complement your home’s aesthetic.

Are you after extra privacy? Sunscreen mesh shields the view into your outdoor area while allowing you to enjoy the scenery beyond the blinds. It also minimises airflow, reducing it to a gentle breeze.

Do you want protection from the elements with an unobstructed view? Maintain a clear view with transparent or tinted PVC, which acts as a window and blocks the wind.

The blinds glide up and down with ease, without zips, ropes or crank handles.

Installation

We have flexible installation options to suit your needs. In most cases, Ziptrak blinds can be attached to surfaces made from brick, steel, concrete and wood, including pergolas.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ziptrak’s patented design is durable, purpose-built to withstand harsh weather conditions. They are backed by a two-year warranty.

Ziptrak blinds are custom-made to fit your space. For sunscreen mesh, it is recommended the dimensions don’t exceed 6000mm wide by 3500mm high, and are less than 5500mm wide by 3000mm high for PVC. Your installer will consider factors such as the strength of the structure the blinds are being mounted to and the average wind speed in your region. It is possible to have blinds installed in openings larger than 6 meters by using multiple blinds with a separating post.

Your installer will assess your environment and make a recommendation, but fittings can be added to strengthen the system, including skirting and pelmets. Skirting on the bottom rail adds stability and helps to prevent water, dust and insects entering your space. For superior protection, adding a pelmet to the top conceals the tube, and covers the whole blind when it is raised.
